Artists Presentations at Shared Ecologies invited five artists to present their work. The presentation touched and explored many points in which the artist appeared as observer, activator, and participant. Exploring limits of institutions, the self, materials, and mediums and the possibilities of breaking or reconfiguring them. Conversations unfolded around endurance as a method, experience as material, and the many forms of power that shape human and non-human lives. Gender, identity, and shifting positions of the self further opened questions around how we make, experience, and relate through art.
