Axar , Akshay Mahajan and Niharika Chauhan discussed their work at the Shared Ecologies Artist Presentation session, a bi-annual event we invite, this time at the Serendipity Arts Festival . Wency Mendes joined us as respondent, and brought conditions of making and structural questions as response. The presentations focused on book-making, poetry, documentary photography. The reading of time came up in conversation with Niharika’s work; Akshay’s spoke to interpreting archives in his work; and Axar shared a glimpse into their projects Knot-Book and Not-Book.
