Shared Ecologies and Maze Collective Studio are delighted to announce a unique hybrid residency program designed for photographers deeply engaged in projects addressing environmental issues. If your work is based in south Asia and you’ve already made significant progress, this program is perfect for you.
Program Overview:
This residency aims to support photographers committed to documenting and exploring environmental subjects. We aim to provide you with the resources, mentorship, and platform needed to advance your project and present it to a wider audience.
Eligibility Criteria:
Focus on Environmental Issues: Your project should be centred around environmental themes, highlighting the challenges and stories related to the environment.
Geographical Scope: The project must be based in India or its subcontinent, reflecting the region’s unique environmental narratives.
Project Progress: Applicants should have completed at least 30% of their project, including substantial research and initial documentation.
Mentorship:
Throughout the residency, you will receive expert mentorship aimed at refining and executing your project. Our mentors will work with you to think critically about your work and guide you on how to effectively use the analogue printing and photography techniques available at Maze Collective Studio. These sessions will help you prepare for the final phase of the residency and ensure your project is presented in the best possible way
