Distances in Proximity: Curated Film Package
Shared Ecologies is pleased to invite you to the upcoming event at our space in Jangpura, New Delhi.
This film curation brings forward the urban social landscape, reflecting on how it interacts with and impacts human lives. How can proximity produce distance? How do urban systems negotiate personal space, social boundaries, and the conditions of proximity?
It considers how a crowd is not a single unit, but a coexistence of individual identities; how the stratification of people through class, caste, occupation, and geography produces dissonance and creates invisible boundaries of access, movement, and belonging.
